Episode 1
The first episode of Celebrity Bromance Season 8 aired on June 28th, 2016. BTS’ Jungkook was the first one to arrive at a dogs café. He bought two americanos for him and for his Celebrity Bromance’s partner. He was nervous while waiting for him. He tried playing with the dogs, but he was still nervous. When he saw someone approaching the café, he quickly went out to greet his partner. His partner was none other than Shinhwa’s Minwoo. They went inside the café and started chatting. Minwoo asked Jungkook several questions, such as if Jungkook was raising a pet and what is his blood type. It turned out that they have the same blood type of A. Minwoo then asked Jungkook to call him hyung. Then they were talking about how they were not familiar with each other appearing on the show. Minwoo then said that they had met before and Jungkook said that he remembered. In an interview, Jungkook revealed that he met him when he first debuted and how Shinhwa taught BTS how to greet. Minwoo and Jungkook talked about their 18 years of an age gap. Minwoo honestly said that he was worried about what they would do. Therefore, he thought that he had to lead Jungkook as Jungkook felt uncomfortable around him. Minwoo then shared about Shinhwa who was able to last long as a group because Jungkook asked him about it. Jungkook said that he learned a lot from Minwoo. After that, they left the café and went to the next place. They took selfies before going. Minwoo said that Jungkook was handsome and he looked ugly in comparison.
Episode 2
On their way to the next place, they were talking about many things, from exercises, Japanese skills, Jungkook’s driving skills, and his favorite foods. Minwoo said that he couldn’t sleep well the night before because he thought about what they should do together. He said that they need to think of each other as a good older brother and a younger brother. After some time, they finally arrived at the location. Before climbing, they warmed up first. After warming up, Minwoo taught Jongkook how to climb. He applied the chalk first and demonstrated the level one course with instructions on how to do it. Finally, it was Jungkook’s turn. He applied the chalk on both of his hands and tried the level one course. Minwoo gave him instructions and Jungkook followed them well. In no time, Jungkook finished the course. Minwoo told Jungkook that he was good in his first try. Minwoo then proposed to do bouldering. He did it first to show how it was done to Jungkook. Jungkook then tried the course and easily finished the course. He said that it was fun. Minwoo said that Jungkook was really good at climbing. To see how good he was, he asked his manager to compete with Jungkook. If Jungkook could finish the course, Minwoo would treat him meat. Minwoo’s manager started first. He was out of energy midway and failed to finish the course.
Episode 3
Jungkook started the challenge. He followed the instructions well and finished the difficult course. Minwoo was amazed and said that Jungkook was really good and had talent in climbing. It was revealed that the instructor changed the route because Jungkook finished early. In the interview, Jungkook said that he wanted to try something that Minwoo did and because he promised him to buy meat. So, he did his best to eat meat. After climbing, Minwoo and Jungkook tried surfing board riding. It was Jungkook’s first time to exercise on surfing board. He also said that he was not good with balancing. However, Minwoo thought that Jungkook would do just fine. At first, they tried to get used to the board. Then they learned the real pose when they surfed in the sea. They also tried burpees on the board. At the end of their exercise, Minwoo asked Jungkook if it was fun. Jungkook said it was fun and he should do climbing more often. Before moving to the next place, Jungkook asked for Minwoo’s phone number. Minwoo and Jungkook then exchanged their phone numbers. In the interview, Jungkook said that he felt closer to Minwoo after the exercise. On the way to the restaurant, they were talking about various things, from climbing to how idols’ dances changed.
