Maya got her Bachelor’s degree from the University of California-Berkeley and later graduated from Stanford Law School. Maya served as the chairwoman of her older sister Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign, but this wasn’t her first experience with a the presidential race. Previously, she served as a senior policy advisor on Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign. Maya met her husband, Tony West, at Stanford Law School. West is a former Associate Attorney General of the U.S. Senate and currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer of Uber. Maya is very active on social media.
