Background of “Look at Me” – Before the Twicetagram Release Date
On September 8th, 2017, it was first reported that Twice had started to make a music video in Canada. JYP Entertainment confirmed that Twice were indeed in the preparation process of their next comeback. On September 25th, the agency gave an announcement about the comeback for the second time. It was announced that the upcoming comeback would be in late October. On October 16th Twice released a music video trailer for the lead single titled “Likey”. The release date was also announced on that day, which would be October 30th. On October 21st, Twice released a tracklist poster for the album. Before the official release hour, the group shared a poster, filled with the complete lyrics of “Likey“. A few hours later, the digital album of Twicetagram was released through various music sites. The music video for “Likey” was also released on that day. The physical album wasn’t released yet, it was released the next day, on October 31st.

In the song “Look at Me”, Wonder Girls’ Lim or Woo Hyerim participated in the songwriting process, alongside Frants. Aside from being the lyrics writers, Frants and Hyerim also composed this song, while Frants arranged this song too. “Look at Me” is a track of the pop dance genre and a fast beat. This song is about a person who feels shy when he/she meets the person he/she loves. Through words, he/she often told the person that he/she missed her/him, but when they met, he/she felt shy in front of that person. His/her shyness is shown by not looking his/her lover into the eye.

“Look at Me” Performance: Three Times at the Twiceland Zone 2 Concert
Twice members performed “Look at Me” in some of their concert stages in Twiceland Zone 2 – Fantasy Park. There were five countries set to be the concert arena; there were South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia. The whole concert started on May 18th, 2018, and ended on July 29th, 2018. Specifically, for the “Look at Me” performance, the song was performed three times at this Twiceland Zone 2 concert. The first time, they performed “Look at Me” in the Jamsil Arena, Seoul, South Korea on May 18th, 2018. They performed this song again for the second time in the Singapore Indoor Stadium, Singapore on June 17th, 2018. For the third time in this Twiceland concert, they performed this song at the Indonesian Convention Exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia on August 25th, 2018.
