He used to be a Pledis Entertainment trainee and was supposed to be a member of Seventeen, but he left the agency in 2013 due to personal reasons. He debuted in 2015 as a member of the rapper duo 1PUNCH with ONE, but the group only lasted for eight months because ONE was scouted by YG Entertainment. He then joined Produce 101 Season 2 but unfortunately, he couldn’t join WANNA ONE because he was ranked 18th. After that, Samuel released two mini-albums as a solo artist under Brave Entertainment. Then, on June 8th, 2019, Samuel said that he would promote as an independent artist from now on.

Jeon Somi
“Imma shake it shake it shake it like it was my birthday…” the most memorable lyrics from Jeon Somi’s solo debut song titled “Birthday.” Ennik Somi Douma, or commonly known as Jeon Somi, is an 18-year-old female idol who recently debuted under one of the sub-companies of YG Entertainment, The Black Label. Somi used to be a JYP trainee, she joined the SIXTEEN survival show which formed Twice, but couldn’t get into it. She then joined Produce 101 Season 1 and came out as the first ranked in Produce 101. She debuted with I.O.I and became the nation’s center. After I.O.I’s contract was terminated, Somi was rumored of debuting with ITZY, but she surprisingly left the agency and Somi’s position was filled by Shin Yuna. Somi’s mother is a South Korean woman Sunhee, while her father is Matthew Douma, a Dutch-Canadian man. Her family moved to South Korea when she was one year old. Somi used to be bullied because of her half-blood, and even wanted to do plastic surgery to make herself look more like a Korean. She then had Taekwondo training to raise up her confidence, until she got to the 4th degree of Taekwondo’s black belt. Her father is also popular like her, as he appeared as a cameo in the drama Descendants of The Sun, also in The Unnie’s MV, and was cast in the show Real Man 300.
Seventeen’s Vernon
Vernon has two names, Choi Han Choi for Korea and Hansol Vernon Chwe for his real name. Vernon was born in New York, the United States, from an American mother and Korean father. He and his family moved to South Korea when he was 5 years old, so he has two nationalities, South Korean and American. Vernon adores his parents very much, so much so that he made them his role models. He has a younger sister named Sofia, which has been seen in the offices of JYP, Pledis, and FNC Entertainment. His sister might want to follow in his footsteps and become an idol. Vernon is part of Pledis Entertainment’s boy group Seventeen, and is a member of the hip-hop subunit because he is the main rapper of the group. He is also the vocalist, visual, and face of Seventeen. Sadly, Vernon was rumored of taking a break from his idol activities due to personal health issues.
